Machine Learning Mondays presents: Human in the Frame : AI, Agency & the Art of Telling Stories with Machines with Osiris Santos

AI tools are moving fast—but the most important part of the process is still the same: a human being deciding what story is being told. This session is about keeping the human in the frame, even as machines take on more of the work.

What we’ll cover:

• Story-first intent (before tools)
• Research before prompting
• Prompting fundamentals in filmmaker language (tone, mood, pacing, genre)
• Staying in control of authorship + creative agency
• Accessible workflows you can use right away
• Iteration: refining outputs like you refine a cut

Who it’s for: filmmakers, writers, producers, editors, artists, and anyone curious about using AI in a way that supports (not replaces) the creative process.
