Emerging from adversity stronger than ever, the five-piece rock band blends soulful swagger, Motown-infused grooves, and kinetic live energy that turns every show into a dance floor. Frontman Carson Macc’s smooth, Jagger-meets-Harry Styles vocals pair with Nick Barone’s searing guitar riffs, backed by Angelo Coppola (drums), Mike Moody (guitar), and Ian Lukas (bass), creating an infectious sound rooted in Motor City tradition but brimming with fresh vitality.
With over a decade of musical partnership between Macc and Barone, Mac Saturn distinguished themselves early with their 2022 EP Until the Money Runs Out, which featured fan favorites “Diamonds” and “Mr. Cadillac,” amassing millions of streams. Their debut full-length, Hard To Sell (2024), produced at Detroit’s legendary Rust Belt Studios, cemented their place in the city’s rock lineage with standout tracks like “Get On The Phone,” “Young In Paradise,” and “Junkie.”
Though their album release was overshadowed by the arrest and departure of a former keyboard player, the band chose renewal over retreat, taking 18 months to reflect, rebuild, and sharpen their creative bond. Now returning as a five-piece, Mac Saturn is ready to reclaim their spotlight with new music that channels their growth and resilience. In this next chapter, the band is also using their platform to support Darkness to Light. By merging their music with advocacy, Mac Saturn is proving that the transformative power of rock n’ roll extends beyond the stage, turning even the hardest trials into triumphs that can inspire and also protect others.
