Join us for a wonderful, happy, day of fun in the sun! Every year the picnic gets better. It’s the best way to spend time with your friends and get to know some of the other members in a relaxing park on the Milwaukee River in Thiensville. The park offers a river walk, a waterfall, lots of picnic tables, it’s the perfect setting for a picnic. Don't forget your musical instruments and Jam with the band!A Picnic Lunch will be catered by Bunzels Meat Market, around 1:30 – 2p.m. and will be available all day, along with Snacks, Bottled Water, and Coffee provided by MAC. Appetizers & desserts to share would be great! Bring your own beverages in coolers. An appetizer or dessert to share is always appreciated. If we have food left over, which will only be available AFTER everyone has eaten and a board member gives the ok, bring your own “take Home” containers please. We will not supply them this year!
FROM THE SOUTH WEST: Take HWY 41/45 north to Good Hope Road, turn right onto Good Hope Road and go East turn left onto 76th Street to Mequon Road , turn right (East) onto Mequon Road to Main Street (also called Cedarburg Road) turn left on Main Street, (Hollander Restaurant on Northwest corner) go to next set of stop/go lights turn right onto Green Bay Road, next street is Elm Street, turn right and drive down to the park.
Or take I-43 North to Mequon Road, turn left (West) on Mequon Road, to Main Street (Cedarburg Road), turn right, go to next set of stop/go lights (Green Bay Road), turn right to Elm and drive down to park.
ATTENTION: Construction on I43 Southbound ONLY, Mequon Rd. Southbound Exit Closed Follow Detours Take Exit 87 / Highland Rd. Northbound Mequon Rd. Exit Open .
