Mabo Day Celebrations 2024 | Saturday 8th June Please join us next Saturday for this year’s Northside Mabo Day celebrations! Stop by for an interactive and family-friendly afternoon from 12pm to 4pm at the Flowstate pavilion/arbour in South Bank Parklands.
? Live music and entertainment by local TSI artists and creatives (including an interactive weaving session)
? Cultural performances by Nunukul Yuggera Aboriginal Dance Group, Zom Kolbe Kolbe, Mabuyag Dancers and the Kutaw Zoeru Torres Strait Island Dance Group
? Market stalls showcasing local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses and creatives
? Face painting and activities for the kids
? Free public event (alcohol free/all ages)

Mabo Day Celebrations 2024 is not only a day about recognising the monumental achievements and contributions of Uncle Eddie Mabo and the countless Torres Strait Islander leaders and Elders who have made history, but it is also a day of gathering, networking, sharing our knowledges, and making memories with one another.
All are welcome to attend this free event proudly presented and sponsored by Brisbane City Council, Cre8tive Nations and South Bank Corporation. We would love to see you there, and we extend our invitation to Brisbane’s wider communities to join in on the day’s celebrations.
