Visiting the Mabel Hartzell Historical Home, located at 840 N. Park Avenue in Alliance, is like stepping into a Victorian Alliance, Ohio home of the 1880s-1910s.The home features many unusual antiques including a gavel table used by the GAR made from a tree stump, an early slide projector known as a Mirrorscope, and many kitchen/home items such as a ruffler and a hat stretcher.
The History Mini Museum features a display of its newest acquisition, a replica of the Liberty Bell displayed throughout Alliance during the American Bicentennial in 1976, the 1910 Alliance automobile, and items manufactured in Alliance.
