Deeply rooted in Afro-Caribbean and Latin American folklore, the dynamic percussion ensemble TIMBALONA will captivate, mesmerize and get you moving with their rhythmic prowess. Salsa extraordinaire DJ VSpice joins on the decks - dancing shoes mandatory! The night begins with a salsa lesson from Eddie Alba of Albasario Dance Company! TIMBALONA Collective is a dynamic percussion ensemble rooted in the vibrant traditions of Afro-Caribbean and Latin American folklore. Their primary goal is to captivate audiences with a rich musical journey, seamlessly blending rhythmic prowess, compelling storytelling, and captivating dance performances. The Collective was established by co-directors and musicians Andrés Cisneros and Christian Noguera.
