The MAA Diaspora Association proudly invites you to our 2026 Annual Conference — a landmark event bringing together Maa speakers and community members from across the United States, East Africa, and beyond.
Whether you are an elder, a young professional, a parent raising Maa children abroad, or simply someone who carries the culture in your heart — this conference is for you.
🌍 ABOUT THIS EVENT
The MAA Diaspora Association exists to serve the interests of Maa members living in the diaspora and in East Africa. Each year, our conference is the centerpiece of that mission — a space where our people come together in person to talk, decide, celebrate, and plan.
This year's theme — Strengthening Community, Shaping the Future — reflects where we are as a people. We are growing. We are organizing. And we understand that the decisions we make together today will determine the kind of community our children inherit tomorrow.
