Modeling brings history, imagination, and creativity to life!
If you’ve ever wondered how detailed miniatures are made, or would like to make one yourself, join the Warhawk Air Museum’s “Tank Build” and make a scaled down model of one of the hottest tanks on the modern battlefield, the M1A1 Abrams.
Painting, building, and research go into the building of this kit, with instruction by award-winning modelers who know their trade. Come build something awesome at the Warhawk Air Museum!
Limited to 9 participants. All necessary supplies are provided, and students will take their model home with them! All participants need to bring a sack lunch and refillable water bottle. Refrigeration and microwaves are available.
