M10 Workshop: The Person/Improviser You Are with CONNOR RATLIFF

Workshop Description: A workshop focused on trying to figure out how to tap into the qualities that (ideally) make you different from every other improviser. Each of us has lived our own unique life, and drawing on the specifics of that – not just the things that have happened to us personally but our observations of others, and the world at large – can help inform our choices in improv in ways that make it more interesting, inspiring and fun.

Workshop Length: 2.5 hours
Prerequisite: All experience levels welcome.
What Should I Bring? Please bring a notebook and pen/pencil for taking notes (NO Laptops).

About the Instructor: Connor Ratliff is a New York City-based actor/comedian and creator of the award-winning, critically acclaimed podcast Dead Eyes.

He has appeared in numerous films and TV shows, including The Marvelous Mrs Maisel, Widow's Bay, Ghosts, Bob's Burgers, The Great North, Jellystone!, Super Duper Bunny League, Étoile, Search Party, Orange Is The New Black, Last Week Tonight With John Oliver, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, The Daily Show, Don't Think Twice, Pinball: The Man Who Saved The Game, Run Amok and the Mean Girls movie musical. You may have also heard him on This American Life, Comedy Bang! Bang! or in the audiobook edition of Tom Hanks’ New York Times Best Selling debut novel, The Making Of Another Major Motion Picture Masterpiece.

A fixture of the NYC improv comedy scene, he has been performing for the past 15+ years at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in shows like ASSSSCAT and The Stepfathers, or hosting the long-running cult comedy series, The George Lucas Talk Show.
