This evening featuring the GUEST ARTIST: Betina Quest – An Electronic Afro-Soul Experience
From Burundi to the world, Betina Quest crafts a sound that blends electronic experimentation with deep soul and raw emotion. As a multi-instrumentalist and one-woman powerhouse, she layers loops, synths, and samples to create immersive sonic landscapes. With a rich, warm voice and an instinct for connection, she invites audiences into an intimate yet boundless musical journey.
Her name, Quest, reflects her artistry—a search for unity, a voice for untold stories, and an exploration of sound beyond borders. Growing up across multiple continents, she seamlessly fuses genres and languages, shaping a style that’s as fluid as it is powerful. Now, she shares fan favorites and unreleased tracks from her upcoming EP, guiding listeners into new yet familiar emotional territories.
And of course our Houseband: Batila & The Dream Bus – A Bantu Soul Experience
Batila & The Dream Bus is a Berlin-based collective led by singer-songwriter Batila, the mind behind Bantu Soul. Born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Batila draws from icons like Papa Wemba and Franco, blending Afrobeat, soul, reggae, and Congolese rhythms into a sound that’s both rooted and forward-thinking.
The Dream Bus is more than a band—it’s a musical movement. With an ever-evolving lineup of top Berlin musicians, they create powerful, groove-driven performances that transcend borders. Batila’s deep connection to the Kongo is felt in his nods to Rumba Congolaise, while global influences keep the sound fresh and dynamic.
Like a bus picking up stories and sounds along the way, the Dream Bus is constantly shaped by its passengers—each show an electrifying new ride.
The lineup includes Dodo Nkishi (drums), Paul Hoyle (bass), Sam Konzi & Jarrah Skyline Sun (guitars), Adam Pawel Dziewaltowski-Gintow (percussion), Nane Kahle (vocals), Maurizio Fleury (keys), and rotating guests like Kalle Zeier and Regis Molina.a
