A moving tribute to the profound journey of motherhood, this dance drama, conceived and directed by award-winning theatre artist Ulka Mayur, explores the many dimensions of being a mother: loving, nurturing, playful, strict, selfless, and deeply transformative. Drawing from both Kathak and contemporary movement vocabularies, the piece follows the story of a woman who, with the birth of her daughter, is herself reborn as a mother.  
 
Audiences accompany her through each evolving phase, witnessing everyday moments of play, storytelling, caregiving, teaching, and emotional anchoring that together shape the fabric of childhood and identity. The production’s innovative stagecraft brings the mother’s imagination to life, as stories are vividly realised through expressive dance, and scenes of tenderness and playfulness unfold in richly layered visual tableaux.
