Mark your calendars for Lyondemere-Gyldenholt Yule, Saturday December 14, 2024. The Barony of Lyondemere is pleased to host this year, and we’re excited to announce the theme will be Viking!
SCHEDULE:
5:00 pm - Site opens
6:00 pm - Feast commences
7:00 pm - Competitions and Court at Their Excellencies' pleasure
8:30 pm - Site clean-up: Everyone is encouraged to assist
9:00 pm - Site closes
REGISTRATION INFORMATION: The main dishes will be provided (protein and vegan) and beverages. There is no registration fee for this event, but participants are asked to participate in potluck for the side dishes and dessert. If your persona name begins with A-M, please bring side dish to share. If your persona name begins with N-Z, please bring a dessert to share. Please label each dish with ingredients (to assist anyone concerned with allergens).
COMPETITIONS AND FUN: We will have dragonship races (think pinewood derby…), prizes for best dragon head on your ship, best table decorations, best Viking weapon, an arts display, and more!

DIRECTIONS: Riviera United Methodist Church is located at 375 Palos Verdes Blvd. Redondo Beach, CA 90277. Take your best transportation towards Redondo Beach (south and west of the 405 and west of Hwy 1 near Torrance). At the intersection of Calle Miramar and Palos Verdes Blvd, proceed north on the frontage road to the church. The driveway to the parking lot is located on the south side of the property (if you are facing the front of the sanctuary, the driveway is to the left). Go down the hill and turn right into the parking lot and go to the Fellowship Hall. Ample handicap-accessible parking is available directly adjacent to the Fellowship Hall.
