At 24 years old, Ishaan Ghosh carving a broad, international space for
himself as dynamic soloist and favorite collaborator. He also
creates novel collaborations in genres as diverse as Jazz,
Electronica, Persian, Chinese & Afro-Cuban.
Chicago World Music Festival favorite, Lyon Leifer learned the
music from Devendra Murdeshwar (1923-2000), remaining in
India for 5 years and returning often. Performances have taken
him to locales including Mumbai, Kolkata, New Delhi, and Pune,
as well as Birmingham, Manchester, Havana, Caracas, Shanghai,
and to locations across the US.
Vikas Falnikar is a well-known harmonium accompanist from
Chicago. He has supported many senior tabla artists in recital,
including Pt. Shyam Kane, Pt. Anindo Chatterjee and Pt. Nayan
Ghosh.
