Introducing the three acts.............
1. Consisting of 3 Silicon Valley natives and a farm boy, California Standard is a rock band with a singer-songwriter twist based out of the San Francisco Bay Area. Inspired by acts like John Mayer, early Coldplay, and Misterwives; they blend alt-radio vibes and pop hooks to tell slice-of-life stories.
The band released their debut EP, Physically Distant but Socially Accessible (and Emotionally Unavailable) in 2021 on all major streaming platforms and has continued writing and releasing singles since. Their most recent single So...You're in an Indie Movie is an anthemic look at trying new things in new places aimed at alternative music fans that loved the music that played over the end of 2000s indie movies.
2. Paper Straw is an indie band from San Francisco, blending the soulful sounds of rock, folk, and R&B. Drawing inspiration from artists like Theo Katzman, John Mayer, and Tom Misch, Paper Straw creates a unique and captivating musical experience. The band is composed of Zach, Matt, Kyle, and Noé—apologetic software engineers by day and passionate music escapists by night
3. Lynz, an award-winning dreamy singer-songwriter and producer originally from snowy Buffalo, New York, has been turning heads since she was just 12 years old. Her ability to blend heartfelt lyrics with captivating melodies continues to enchant listeners, leaving them eagerly anticipating her next musical venture. With a voice as sweet as honey and a talent that cannot be denied, Lynz is sure to leave you wanting more. Lynz will be debuting a new style of set with live looping, drum machines, guitar, and synth.
