Lynnea Barry: Living On The Road, Van Zandt and Outlaw Country
Sat, April 17, 7:30 PM
Sun, April 18, 3:00 PM
The Shedd Institute, Eugene, OR
Lynnea Barry and friends explore the work of Townes Van Zandt, Guy Clark, Rodney Crowell and a broad, loose complex of country-oriented artists who, in the 1970s and '80s pursued an approach to the form that diverged from what they found the over-produced, pop-oriented "Nashville sound" corporate Nashville into a blending of traditional country with rock and folk rhythms, and raw storytelling.
Join us for Dinners At Six before the evening performance and after the matinée!
Thank you to our sponsors Judy Grubbs & Barry Polonsky, Mary Jeanne Jacobsen, Collis Wealth Management, and The Eye Center for this production.
