LYLVC: (Raleigh, NC)By day, a young woman hacks computer systems in order to test their security from outside threats on behalf of a financial company. By night, she fronts a genre-breaking band, fusing hard rock, hip-hop, electronica, and alternative into a fluid, focused, and fiery hybrid of styles as unpredictable as it is undeniable. This is LYLVC [pronounced “Lilac”].
The Raleigh, NC six-piece band—Alyse Zavala [clean vocals], Oscar Romero [rap vocals], Cam Gillette [keyboard, synth], Kenny Kaval [bass], Seth Morgan [guitar], and Ryan Powell [drums]—deliver a fiery and futuristic sonic synthesis on their 2022 independent debut EP, Perfect Drug.
TCOOOA: (CHapel Hill, NC)
The Consequences of Our Own Actions (TCOOOA) is an indie rock band out of Chapel Hill, NC, USA. Our biggest musical inspirations are Nirvana, Arctic Monkeys, Fallout Boy, and IDLES. We draw from the foundation they built and make our own unique version of that music, while still remaining true to our 90s rock roots.
SENECA BURNS:(Charlotte, NC)
Have you ever felt like your back was against the wall with no way out? Like you had the weight of the world and everyone in it on your shoulders? If so, you're everything that the members of Seneca Burns personally relate to. Driving guitar riffs, perpetual intensity, and a megaphone for the mind, Seneca Burns are four star cross'd musicians who came together at the apex of one of the world's toughest times to reanimate that Mid 2000s sound "One More Time" Sick of the monotony of the entertainment industry in their hometown of Charlotte, NC, they led the charge and helped formulate a movement within the community. Headlining their first show, selling the building out, and starting a trend of doing that very same thing over the past two years, they created a party that was can't miss. People come together in the Carolinas to celebrate life and connection, and they often do it wherever Seneca Burns is playing.
