DR. IRA HELFAND Expert on the consequences of nuclear war who helped found two Nobel Peace Prize winning groups. Helfand is a member of the International Steering Group of the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN) as well as the immediate past President of International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War (IPPNW). In 2023 he was awarded the prestigious Gandhi King Ikeda Award for Peace.
