About this Event
Lost Worlds Institute, a student-led organization that works on preserving languages through scholarly documentation, research, & work with professors, is organizing a conference about linguistics, endangered languages, and language preservation for anyone to attend. There will be keynote speeches given by professors in the field; students from the organization will also present their research; and every attendee is invited to contribute to The Care Lab where you can learn how to transcribe audio of an endangered language and will get to work on transcription and matching activities.
