The Art of Drafting Arbitration Clauses

Info: Arbitration clauses are often seen as boilerplate, yet they can significantly affect the efficiency, cost, and outcome of disputes long after a contract is signed.
Representatives from the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) will lead a session on common pitfalls in disputes that arise from international commercial relationships and complex multi-party or multi-contract arrangements, including those common in the funds industry. Participants will get practical guidance on topics such as arbitrability, selecting the place of arbitration, choosing institutional rules, and drafting clauses to avoid costly jurisdictional disputes. The session will focus on issues relevant to the Luxembourg market.
