Lustholmen är en festival för dans, koreografi, musik och konst som firar sommarens annalkande med lust, liv och ljus!Lustholmen hette Skeppsholmen i slutet av 1500-talet då den användes som rekreationsplats av de första Vasakungarna, och sedan förra året är det också namnet på en festival som MDT gör i samarbete med Anrikningsverket. I år utökar vi Lustholmen till ett bländande treveckors program med dans och koreografi, med föreställningar inom och utomhus, på ön och inne i teatern. Anrikningsverket har också gjort ett fantastiskt och mångsidigt konsertprogram, som även kommer höras och synas under Within Practice-festivalen.
Within Practice är en festival för samtida danspraktiker med praktikpresentationer, workshops, samtal med mera och går av stapeln sista veckan av Lustholmen. I år ingår även program från våra ö-grannar ArkDes och Kungliga Konsthögskolan (Mejan). Festivalerna och festligheterna kulminerar i en fest på båten M/s Segelkronan.

Lustholmen is a festival of dance, choreography, music and arts celebrating the start of Summer with lust, life, light!
Lustholmen was the name for Skeppsholmen at the end of the 16th century when it was used recreationally by the first Vasa-Kings, and since last year it is also the name of a festival made by MDT and Anrikningsverket. This year, we’re extending the Lustholmen event into a dazzling three-week programme of dance and choreography, with performances in- and outdoors, on the island and inside the theatre. Once again, MDT is joining forces with Anrikningsverket to offer a fantastic and diverse concert programme, which will also interlace with the Within Practice festival. Within Practice is a festival for contemporary dance practices, workshops, talks and explorative sessions and will happen during the third and last week of Lustholmen.
This year of Lustholmen also includes programming from our island neighbours ArkDes and Kungliga Konsthögskolan (Mejan). We will end with a celebratory bang – the festivities will be culminating with a party on the boat M/s Segelkronan.
