Lupus Awareness Event "The Power of Purple"

The Power of Purple is an annual community-driven Lupus Awareness event hosted by the Faces of Lupus Organization each May in recognition of Lupus Awareness Month. This empowering gathering is designed to bring individuals, families, caregivers, and the broader community together to increase awareness, provide education, and foster support.

The event creates a welcoming, inclusive space where attendees can learn more about lupus through engaging educational sessions, connect with others in supportive breakout groups, and access valuable resources from local vendors and organizations. Participants can also enjoy interactive activities that promote wellness, creativity, lunch, ' Kids zone, and community connection.

At its core, The Power of Purple is about visibility, unity, and strength—amplifying the voices of those impacted by lupus while inspiring hope, resilience, and collective action.
