After 2 years of planning, we are excited to present Lunenburg's 8 Goals and the recommendations for how to achieve them! Join us at Smokestack Roasters October 22nd 6:30-8:30pm.Attend this final info session to learn about the process and extensive feedback acquired from town residents and our own Boards/Commissions/Committees, which resulted in ~80 tasks for us to accomplish as a town over the next 10 years. Use this opportunity to ensure your voice is heard and understand the plan for the future of Lunenburg.
The consulting firm OverUnder will be presenting the draft, then we will have an interactive session (details coming!) where you can learn about and discuss the recommendations relevant to your Goals of interest.
Lunenburg's 8 Goals:
( 1 ) Support a range of housing options for all ages and income levels
( 2 ) Protect farmland and support farmers
( 3 ) Encourage small business development within existing commercial areas
( 4 ) Build upon efforts to improve natural open spaces and recreational opportunities
( 5 ) Support community gathering spaces
( 6 ) Optimize use of municipal buildings and properties
( 7 ) Improve school facilities, funding, and opportunities
( 8 ) Foster safe and resilient Town infrastructure
