On Friday the 24th of October 2025 the United Nations turns 80 years old, and Lund's UN Association wants to celebrate it together with you!To continue a new tradition, Lund's UN Association is once again inviting you to its annual charity ball. This year, the ball is organised in favour of UNICEF's work to provide every child's right to education. Education is crucial for childrens' possibilities in the future, as well as vital for children's knowledge about the world. In a university town as Lund, the privilege of education becomes apparent and Lund's UN Association believes in working together to help securing the right to education for children all over the world.
In addition to the charity purpose, the evening will also consist of a luxurious three-course dinner from Tegnérs Matsalar, live music and speeches, in particular by honorary speaker Malin Herwig, UN City Manager in Copenhagen and formerly Deputy Resident Representative for UNDP in Sri Lanka.
We really look forward to sharing a wonderful evening together with you to raise money for UNICEF's work for every child's right to education, and celebrate the UN's 80th anniversary!

Dresscode: White Tie / Högtidsdräkt
Afterparty: T-bar (20+ age restriction)
Ticket Release: Tuesday 9th of September 12.00 p.m.
Age Requirement: You must be 18+ to purchase a ticket, and 20+ to attend the T-bar afterparty.
All ticket prices include 100 SEK to the donation cause, but it will be appreciated to donate more during the evening in the spirit of charity.
