Patrick Galvin Violinist
Patrick Galvin is a violinist performing works from Baroque to contemporary premiers. Based in San Francisco, he performs regularly in Europe and North America both as a soloist and in chamber settings. His first album, Violin Alone, features solo works by Telemann, Bach, and Ysaÿe. Galvin has commissioned and premiered numerous new pieces for violin and small ensembles, including multiple works from Bay Area composers. In his performances, he enjoys addressing the audience to provide history and context for the music.

Known for her passion for French Impressionist, Russian Romantic, and contemporary music, Hou has performed at venues including the Sydney Opera House and Steinway Hall (NYC), and was a concerto soloist with the North Sydney Symphony Orchestra. A graduate of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music where she studied with Corey McVicar and Jon Nakamatsu, she earned her Master’s in Piano Performance with the 2022 President’s Award and support from several foundations.
