About this Event

Step back in time to the 16th century with local historian Janet Ridler and learn about Christmas in the time of the Tudors – a 12-day festival of revelry and pageants when all ranks were free from everyday cares. Discover the feasts, festivals and customs of the Tudor Royal Court and how these form the early origins of our Christmas traditions today.
