Biographies:
Yuxin Pu is a pianist from Dalian, China. She began learning the piano at the age of six under the tutelage of Yu Bai, Nikolay Sergeyevich, Qian Shu. She finished her bachelor degree in Royal Northern College of Music in 2025 following Professor Jeremy Young.
She is currently studying piano performance with the internationally renowned teacher and pianist, Ian Fountain at the Royal Academy of Music in the UK.

Yuxin has performed in a number of concerts to much critical acclaim. She has also participated in several competitions and is the recipient of the Schumann Cup in China, the national piano competition Star-Sea cup Excellence Award as well as other notable awards. In 2022, she was awarded the prestigious Shirley Cattarall Award for Piano. The following year, she won first prize at the EPTA Piano Competition (2023). In June 2024, she performed Grieg piano concerto in the Stoller Hall with Manchester Beethoven orchestra. In November of the same year, she performed a piano duo with renowned pianist Kathryn Scott at the RNCM Concert Hall. In 2025 she won the second prize of Sheep-drove Piano Competition. Her performance experience includes prestigious venues such as the Menuhin Hall, The Stoller Hall, Sevenoaks, and Stokesley in the UK, as well as Salle Cortot Concert Hall in Paris, France. In China, she has performed at the Dalian International Conference Center and the Steinway Hall, showcasing both her technical command and international reach as a pianist. Yuxin also had masterclasses with many world-known great pianist including Dame Imogen Cooper, Christopher Elton, Pascal Ragé and Jean-Efflam Bavouzet.
