Biographies:
In 2019 Pavel Basov participated in the Jerusalem Opera Festival as a Count
Ceprano in G. Verdi's opera Rigoletto. In 2024 he graduated with honors from the
vocal faculty of the International Slavic Institute in Moscow, class of Professor
Elizaveta Novikova. During his studies, he performed as a soloist in operas by P.I.
Tchaikovsky; N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov; M.P. Mussorgsky; S. Rachmaninoff. During his
work, Pavel prepared and performed choral parts in masterpieces by G. Verdi; S.
Taneyev; Beethoven; S. Rachmaninov. Pavel won the international festival-
competition of accompanists and vocalists "Villahermosa" Mexico in 2025. From
09.2025 to the present, he is a postgraduate student at the Royal Academy of Music
in London in the class of Professor Mark Wildman. Pavel Basov is establishing a
growing reputation for artistic excellence and voice timbre and strength. He is a
very ambitious soloist interested in singing not only operas but also oratorios, songs
and romances.
Estelle Shircore Barker is an Australian pianist establishing a reputation for artistic
excellence as a soloist and collaborative pianist. She has performed extensively
across Europe, the United Kingdom, and Australia, and made her concerto debut
performing Liszt’s Piano Concerto No. 1 with the Narva Symphony Orchestra in
Estonia. As a collaborative pianist, Estelle was awarded 2nd Prize at the Sydney
International Song Prize, and has received guidance from esteemed musicians such
as Malcolm Martineau and Wayne Foster-Smith. Following formative studies in
Munich, Estelle went on to become a prize-winning graduate of the Sydney
Conservatorium of Music. In 2023, she relocated to Spain to develop her
performance career under the guidance of Nikolai Demidenko, during which time
she also completed a Master of Musical Research. She is currently pursuing further
study at the Royal Academy of Music in London with Tatiana Sarkissova, supported
by the Tait Memorial Trust’s Eugenie White Award
