Medha Basu is a young and accomplished Hindustani Classical Vocalist from India, following the Patiala Gharana. She began her training under her mother, Smt. Sujata Basu, and later at Shrutinandan, before continuing under Padmabhushan Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty at the prestigious ITC Sangeet Research Academy, where she is currently a Senior Scholar under Panditji and Shri Brajeswar Mukherjee.

An empaneled artist of All India Radio, Medha has been awarded the CCRT National Scholarship and Shrutinandan Art Fellowship. She also serves as faculty at Shrutinandan. Her performances span major platforms across India — NCPA Mumbai, Shantiniketan, IIT Kharagpur, Rajya Sangeet Sammelan, Pune, Bangalore — and internationally in Germany, Switzerland, France, Spain, and Brazil.

Alongside her musical journey, Medha is a Ph.D. Scholar at the prestigious Jadavpur University, India, researching Neurocognition of Music and Emotion, and has delivered lectures at esteemed institutions worldwide. Her artistry bridges tradition and scholarship, making her a vibrant voice of the new generation in Indian Classical Music.

Shreekalyan Chakraborty is a distinguished young Indian Tabla Player of the Farukhabad Gharana, who began his training at the tender age of three under his father and later trained with Guru Shri Tulshinarayan Kar, eminent disciple of Pandit Biswanath Bose. Since 2008, he has been under the tutelage of the legendary Pandit Anindo Chatterjee.

Winner of the prestigious President Award and recipient of the CCRT National Scholarship from the Ministry of Culture, Shreekalyan has secured top positions in major competitions including Doverlane and All India Radio. An ‘A’-graded artist of All India Radio, Kolkata, he also serves as faculty at Shrutinandan, the renowned music school founded by Padmabhushan Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty.

He has performed extensively across India — from NCPA Mumbai to Sawai Gandharva Pune and Taansen Samaroh Gwalior — as well as internationally in Switzerland, Germany, Italy, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Czech Republic, and the UK. His artistry blends tradition with youthful brilliance, making him a promising torchbearer of the Indian Tabla tradition.
