Join us for lunch with our guest speaker, Recia Cota from Development Workshop Inc.
DWI has been serving Eastern Idaho for over 50 years as a nonprofit agency, assisting individuals who have a disability or who are disadvantaged to achieve greater independence. Our
programs include Adult daily living skills training, vocational training and job placement assistance. We also offer opportunities in manufacturing and production and custodial services where individuals can learn skills, earn income and choose their own path towards independence.
Recia Cota grew up in southeast Idaho and earned both her Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration degrees from Idaho State University. After graduation, she moved to California to begin her career as a Certified Public Accountant. A few years later, the pull of Idaho brought her back home.
Over the course of her career, Recia gained broad accounting experience with several companies before joining Development Workshop, Inc. (DWI) in 2010. In 2016, she was promoted to Vice
President of Finance. In addition to her leadership role at DWI, she also serves as Treasurer for the DWI Foundation and Treasurer for the Festival of Trees, where she continues to apply her financial expertise in support of DWI’s mission and community initiatives.
