Hogfish Bar & Grill sits right on the working waterfront, where fishing boats come and go and the pace feels a little more real. Order off the menu or just grab a drink at the bar and ease into the afternoon with live music, good company, and a laid-back island vibe.
While you’re there, try the sandwich that put Hogfish on the map—their world-famous Hogfish Sandwich—or go all-in with Jimmy’s Key West Cheeseburger in Paradise, made fresh daily with a blend of sirloin, brisket, and chuck (sourced from the infamous Fausto’s Food Palace—iykyk) with onions, mushrooms, and melted cheese.
You’ll also have the chance to meet and get pictures with some of the contestants from Friday night’s Bubba Look-Alike Contest and listen to Two For The Road, a laid-back acoustic duo blending country and rock with a signature Florida Keys vibe-perfect for bringing a relaxed, feel-good energy to any setting. .
Owner Bobby Mongelli will be on hand sharing stories from his years in Key West—including a lifetime ago working as Jimmy’s gardener. It was here—at these very picnic tables—that Jimmy had lunch the last time he was in town before taking the stage, later sharing the moment with fans.
Stick around after lunch and take a walk along the historic docks, where the Mel Fisher boats still operate. Beyond the fishing fleets the docks have a side story too—featured in The Beach Bum (a spectacular box office flop) with scenes from Matthew McConaughey, Snoop Dogg, and a cameo from Jimmy himself shot onsite.
