Join us as MillHouse Studio Artist and classically trained vocal musician Anita Moore, introduces us to the exciting world of the female artists who blazed the trail.

In the first installment of this series, we will learn about two female artists’ that changed the art world by breaking boundaries and opening doors for those that followed.
Rosa Bonheur is a 19th century French artist best known for her large-scale realistic paintings of animals. Fun trivia tidbit about Rosa: she actually had to get permission from the government to wear pants while painting.
Also, we will look at Tamara de Lempicka, a stylish and free-thinking elite of Polish descent that immigrated to Paris, painting portraits of the wealthy during the ‘Roaring Twenties’ and becoming one of the pioneers of the Art Deco movement.

Lunch Bunch Speaker Series is an informal conversation around topics of interest to members and nonmembers. Lunch is not provided, but you are welcome to bring your own.
