Lunch & Learn: Where Decisions Get Made
About this Event
When it comes to government, our focus tends to be drawn to national politics, but when considering what affects you and me daily, what is happening at the city, county, and state levels is much more important. Is your road paved? Did your garbage get collected? Are there effective schools in your neighborhood? What am I paying in sales or property taxes? All of these questions are answered at the state and local levels.
This lunch and earn will focus on understanding how our state and local governments work and why staying involved at the local level is so important!
FREE lunch provided with time to network before and after the presentation
This is a non-partisan conversation. Please remain respectful.
