Lunch & Learn Series Invitation for Siouxland's Downtown Neighbors

This invitation welcomes downtown neighbors (business owners, store managers, downtown organization directors and more) to learn about The Warming Shelter’s programs and services, and to explore meaningful partnership opportunities that enhance wellbeing and community connection throughout Siouxland.
Join us Wednesday, December 16, from Noon – 1:00 p.m. to hear from Shayla Moore, Executive Director for The Warming Shelter in Sioux City.
Mt. Zion Baptist Church is honored to invite you to lunch. We will host this event at our church location: 1400 Pierce Street, Sioux City, Iowa. Lunch will be provided.
Shayla will share insights about:
- How The Warming Shelter operates and who it serves
- How The Warming Shelter’s tiered pathway helps individuals move toward stability
- Safety expectations and accountability within the shelter
- How a strong business community and downtown safety support our neighbors
- OPEN DISCUSSION TIME: Get your questions answered.
Our goal?
To walk away with a shared understanding as we move forward together as a community of leaders.
