Orlando officially incorporated as a town in 1875 and as a city in 1885. Using two bird’s-eye view maps from 1884 and 1890, we can see how the city’s foundational history shaped what Orlando is today. Join historian, Rachel Williams, as she describes key figures and places in early Orlando.
