30-minute presentation | 15-minute guided movement | Open Q&A
Modern work isn’t built for the human body.
Hours at a desk, constant screen time, and minimal movement gradually reshape our posture, tightening the chest, weakening the upper back, rounding the shoulders, and placing unnecessary strain on the neck and spine. Over time, this pattern (known as Upper Cross Syndrome) can leave you stiff, fatigued, and surprisingly drained, even on days when you haven’t “done much.”
In this interactive Lunch & Learn, you’ll first understand what’s actually happening inside your body when you sit for long periods, and why discomfort doesn’t just disappear after logging off.
Then, we’ll move.
Alex will guide you through simple, effective, equipment-free exercises designed to:
- Restore healthy posture
- Reduce tension in the neck and shoulders
- Improve mobility and spinal strength
- Boost energy and focus during your workday
You’ll leave with practical tools you can use immediately at your desk to help alleviate pains associated with the way you work.
At the open Q&A you are welcome to ask Alex about your own specific circumstances and how to improve them.
Join us on April 28th at 12:30 PM for a session that may change the way you think about working forever.
