Lunch & Learn - Health and Safety

Join us for our first Lunch & Learn for 2023 with an informative and practical Health and Safety workshop facilitated by Safe Business Solutions (SBS). The workshop will cover the following key areas:

• Key areas of risk for small and medium sized businesses.
• The importance of completing proper Health and Safety and HR investigations.
• How HR and Health and Safety work together to support strong business operations.

About SBS

Safe Business Solutions Ltd (SBS) was founded in 2015 out of a desire to help businesses manage new legislative changes. With the introduction of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and the Employment Relations Amendment Act 2014, the founders of SBS saw that many businesses were struggling with managing these changes and wanted to create a company that could help businesses navigate the complexities of the new regulations.

Through continuing legislative and business operating environment changes SBS has grown and adapted, but throughout SBS has stayed true to their original motto "A Genuine Desire to Help Others".

Claire's career in Human Resources has included roles in a variety of industries such as oil & gas, heavy equipment, not-for-profit, professional services, and start-ups. Claire offers valuable experience in all aspects of the HR lifecycle including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, remuneration and employee engagement. Claire holds a degree in Management, majoring in International Business. Claire is also a licensed Private Investigator and holds a NEBOSH International Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety.
