This Lunch & Learn session, led by Tom Maycock from the North Carolina Institute for Climate Studies, will be an open Q&A on all topics covered in the Climate Change Science course. The focus for this session will be climate projections, climate communication, and how we can mitigate and adapt to our changing climate.

Tom Maycock works as a science editor and production manager at NC State University’s North Carolina Institute for Climate Studies, based in Asheville, NC. He is part of a local team that supports multiple U.S. and international climate change assessment reports. His efforts focus on helping scientists communicate clearly and effectively.
