For more than 75 years, Seafair has brought communities together through iconic traditions that celebrate our region’s maritime heritage, aviation excellence, and civic pride. As we look ahead to 2025, exciting changes are on the horizon. Join us for a conversation about Seafair’s evolution, its plans to be bigger, better, and bolder than ever, and how you can help shape its future.

Guest Speakers:

Emily Kang Cantrell President and CEO

Emily Kang Cantrell is a transformational leader with over 20 years of experience in festivals, events, tourism, and economic development. As President and CEO of Seafair, she is guiding one of Seattle’s most iconic festivals into its next chapter, ensuring it remains a vibrant celebration of community and culture. With a background in both the private and nonprofit sectors, Emily has a track record of uniting business leaders and partners to drive meaningful change. She serves on the boards of World Trade Center Seattle and the International Women’s Forum Washington state Chapter, and has been recognized as a Puget Sound Business Journal 40 Under 40 honoree.

Lunch & Learn Details:

  • This event is capped at 15 attendees; once the limit is reached, a waiting list is created
  • Each attendee will pay for their lunch from our exciting new weekly menu which includes a beverage, starter item, and entree for only $24.
