About this Event
Parkinson’s Disease:
Understanding the impact on your organization, community, and family.
Parkinson’s Disease (PD) is the fastest growing neurological disorder in the world. It is likely that you, a friend, or someone who work with you is impacted by PD as more than one million people in the US are affected and a new diagnosis is made every 6 minutes.
The Northwest Chapter of the American Parkinson Disease Association supports individuals in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington, offering hope and optimism through programs, services, and research funding. Join APDA for a presentation on PD: its early signs and symptoms, risk factors, treatments, and available community resources and support.
