Bio: Nader Zaveri is one of the leads of Deloitte's Crisis & Incident Response team and has over 18 years in the cybersecurity industry, he holds over a dozen industry-related certifications as well as an author, and a regular speaker at industry events. Specializing in incident response and remediation, Nader has led hundreds of cyber incident responses throughout his career, particularly against complex threats like nation-states and ransomware. He has also led post-incident transformational projects in security and infrastructure. Nader's experience spans leadership roles in top cybersecurity firms and multinational organizations. Apart from his professional pursuits, he mentors young professionals and has served on the boards of various startups, contributing significantly to their growth and success.

Panelist: Anthony Freed, Research Director, Halcyon Ransomware Research Center

Bio: Researcher, author, award-winning producer and publisher. Previously a freelance security journalist leading headline-making investigations that included the Symantec NAV source code leak, the mass compromise of US government agency account credentials, hacktivist Th3j35t3r’s Libyan psy-ops campaign and denial-of-service attack that took down WikiLeaks, the Heartland breach and more. Prior to that, an analyst working with Secondary and Capital markets divisions at the biggest banks around the world and had a front row seat to the bursting of the credit bubble in the late 2000’s.

Bio: Senior Director – MSSP at DirectDefense, leading a team of Security Analysts in threat detection, incident response, and infrastructure management. Experienced cybersecurity leader with a background spanning managed services, product management, consulting, and security operations. Previously at Rapid7, where he built and scaled global Managed Services, rebranded Analytic Response to MDR, and drove 200% YoY revenue growth while leading a team of 120+
