Presentation: The IDEA Model
This session introduces the IDEA Model, a practical framework for discovery learning and mentor coaching that emphasizes compassionate listening, reflection, and purposeful action. Participants will explore how to guide learning through four phases: introduction, discovery, explanation, and application through the use of powerful questions, active and compassionate listening, and collaborative dialogue. Designed to foster trust, insight, and engagement, the IDEA Model supports learners in translating new concepts into meaningful action, building momentum through clear goals, supportive relationships, and a deeper understanding of themselves and others.
