Lunch and Learn: Basics of Beekeeping with Beth Conrey

Join us at the Village Farm for a Lunch and Learn presentation on the basics of beekeeping with the farm's resident beekeeper, Beth Conrey.

This event is part of the Village Farm's Urban Farming Immersion training program for immigrants and refugees. Our participants come from 5 different countries and speak multiple languages. Two interpreters will provide live interpretation in Persian and French during this event. Please be aware that we will pause momentarily during the presentation to allow for the interpretation.

Prior to the presentation, we will have a community potluck with the farm's Urban Farming Immersion training participants. Please bring a small dish to share!

This presentation will be hosted outside. Please be prepared for hot weather! We will provide water and cooling towels.

Our Farm is to the West of the Stanley Marketplace Building. Park in the South parking lot, walk West across the pedestrian bridge and head towards the big blue Trailer. Be sure to give yourself 5-10 minutes to find parking and walk to the Farm.
