Restore your nervous system, mind, and physical body every Thursday evening with a gentle yoga flow and a Yoga Nidra meditation.
The class begins with a gentle yoga flow for about 40-45 minutes followed by a yoga Nidra meditation.
The guidance of the meditation teacher during Yoga Nidra allows you to go through all of the brainwave states descending all the way down to the Delta state. This form of meditation is deeply soothing to the nervous system, moving the body from the sympathetic state “fight, flight, freeze” to the parasympathetic state “rest, digest and restore”.
Yoga Nidra is also crucial in helping manage stress and anxiety. Our mind body connection is crucial to our overall health and wellbeing…they are not separate from each other. With continued practice of Yoga Nidra, you are able to rewire your brain during meditation…nueroplasticity.
Each guest must bring their own yoga mat, props and blanket to class due to COVID restrictions.
