About this Event
Event Description:
From planning to capture, this lecture and evening workshop dives into the art and technique of photographing the moon. Robert Cargill will cover gear, settings, softwear, timing, and composition during the lecture, then head outside to put it all into practice as the moon moves across our night sky.
After the 2PM-3:30PM lecture, you may take a break to grab food and grab any gear you may need. It is recommended to bring your camera with you to the lecture. We will meet up again in the Fort Worth Camera parking lot at 7PM. Robert will be providing hands on training for an hour. The moon does not set until 11:03PM, so there will be plenty of time to get photos. The moon will be fairly high in the sky for March, we'll have plenty of time to shoot the moon, even before sunset.
All skill levels welcome, bring your telephoto lenses!
