The New Moon signifies new beginnings, a time for setting intentions and planting seeds for the future. Encouraging introspection and focusing on what you want to cultivate.
Join us for an unforgettable conscious sober dance experience. Our event is all about celebrating life, love, and connection through heart-centered fun. With amazing DJ Gumbo spinning soul-stirring beats, you'll move and groove with a like-minded community in a safe and sober environment. 6.30pm - Arrive and warm up music/stretching (note: doors will NOT OPEN until 6.30pm)
7.00pm - 2 hour dance journey DJ Gumbo b2b with TAORO
9.00pm - Wind down, closing circle and social
9.30pm - Go forth and spread the vibes
Guidelines
Please arrive on time
No footwear (only if needed)
Respect of personal space
Stay hydrated - BRING BOTTLES (non glass)
Wear comfortable clothes that are easy to move in
Phone-free space during the event
Bring instruments if you want to jam (some provided)

What makes us different from other conscious dance?

Luminous Ent are ran by a BIPOC community who are dedicated to bringing diversity into the wellness space. Inspired by the lack of representation in the conscious community, we have created all-inclusive spaces where ALL ARE WELCOME - Ecstatic dances, creative classes and sober festivals are a few of the events that we've curated, but we remain open to collaborate with all who have something to contribute towards positively impacting the wellbeing of others.
Our signature conscious dance 'LUMINOUS' is held twice a month, around the full and new moon. Resident DJ Gumbo plays an eclectic mix of afro-inspired music from around the world. There will be percussive instruments throughout the space which encourage you to collaborate with us in creating the musical journey. Our fun, heart-centred experience is an expressive outlet for whatever you have been harnessing, to leave you feeling rejuvenated with a fresh injection of positive energy. We are creating an open forum for the community to input on each month’s events, sharing music that you would love to dance to (either composed by others or by yourself).
