Join us for the very first Lumen House Sunday Social!

The first of what we hope will be many Sunday Socials, designed around good music, good food, creative experiences and, most importantly, really good conversation.

Come for an hour or stay for the afternoon. Wander the house, including the new Lumen Suite. Meet someone new, grab a bite, take part in an activation or simply find a spot and get caught in the kind of conversation you wish didn’t have to end.

Your ticket includes one complimentary drink, with additional beverages available for purchase from the Bulles et Bières Bar, including the signature Sunday Social Spritz.

So, what does a Sunday Social actually look like?

From 1–5 PM, the house will be alive with music as DJ BWatts spins vinyl deep house, alternating with live R&B vocals from Stephanie Rae.

In between sets, listen for our Sunday Social Introductions. Twelve guests will be introduced to the room by members of the Sunday Social Committee. No pitches and no awkward microphone moment, just 30 seconds to help you discover someone in the house you might want to meet.

Want to be one of them? The first 12 guests to opt in when registering will be contacted before the event so the committee can get to know you and do the introducing for you.

Come hungry. Posh Cheeseboards will have a grazing board to enjoy throughout the afternoon, and at 3 PM, head upstairs to The Suite for an interactive Dolmades demonstration and tasting with Taylor’s Table.

While you’re upstairs, step in front of the camera for a fresh headshot, another little Sunday Social experience happening throughout the house.

Then there’s the Connection Card...

When you arrive, you’ll receive a coloured name tag and an optional Sunday Social Connection Card.

On it are 11 statements about the 11 members of the Sunday Social Committee, and it’s up to you to figure out who belongs to each one.

There’s only one way to find out: start a conversation.

Your Connection Card will also have prompts tied to the coloured name tags around the house, giving you another easy reason to walk up to someone new and find out what you might have in common.

Complete all 11 committee connections and you’ll earn an entry into our Sunday Social Giveaways.

Or skip the card entirely. Nothing about Sunday Social is mandatory. It’s simply there to make walking up to someone you’ve never met feel a little easier, and hopefully lead to a conversation you wouldn’t have had otherwise.
