With compositions described by Westword as “gorgeous and expansive,” Lelah Simon’s inspiration has changed from the open Colorado plains of her home state to the magic hour light that makes Los Angeles glow. These new arrangements for jazz quintet are a set of grown-up lullabies: pretty melodies floating atop lush harmonies. Because right now, even adults need lullabies.
Opening solo vibraphone set by Brittany Anjou.
