His journey through the world has shaped his thoughtful approach to songwriting and his unique blend of humor and introspection. Drawing inspiration from his own life as a hard working husband and father, Luke crafts songs that capture the struggles, joys, and complexities of everyday life.
With a knack for storytelling, Luke’s lyrics offer a relatable perspective on the mundane moments that many can identify with. Whether reflecting on the trials of balancing work and family or celebrating the small victories of daily life, Luke’s music strikes a perfect balance between wit and authenticity. His guitar skills and voice resonate with those who appreciate heartfelt, honest songwriting, making him a standout in the world of country and Americana.
Luke Powers is slated to release his third album, Tallest Hill, on May 30, 2025. With his trademark guitar driven storytelling, Tallest Hill offers a lighthearted perspective on the struggles and triumphs that define Luke’s journey.
Brandy ZDAN (zuh-dan) is a Canadian artist and record producer based in Nashville. After two Juno nominations and years as a session player and touring guitarist with acts like The Trishas, ZDAN has carved out a solo career, channeling riot-grrrl attitude, post-punk grit and anthems that refuse to be ignored. She is also quickly making her name as a sought-out record producer with her dark and raw sensibility, approach of serving the song, and creating a sonic palette unique to the artists she works with, as heard on her latest work with Oh Boy! Records artist Emily Scott Robinson, Wild Ponies and Heather Mae.
