Luedji Luna at F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre (Rockville, MD)

One of today’s most powerful Brazilian voices, Luedji Luna presents her tour “Bom Mesmo É Estar Debaixo D’água Deluxe.” In this concert, Luedji combines sound styles from her native Salvador, Bahia, with neo-soul, R&B, and jazz. She presents recently released repertoire from her album of the same name, as well as revisits other popular hits from earlier in her career.

Luedji has become a reference in contemporary Brazilian popular music (MPB) and has been nominated for several awards, including Best MPB Album at the 2021 Latin Grammy Awards. She has also performed on global platforms like Colors and Tiny Desk. An active voice in racial and feminist activism, Luedji dives into her ancestry and brings to her art powerful messages of resistance, beliefs, depth, and love.

This concert is part of Luedji Luna’s debut tour in North America.

• Parking: There are two large FREE lots located at the Rockville Civic Center Park; park in the lot behind the theatre or in the lot between the theatre and Glenview Mansion
