Join us for our Arts@Averett series as Averett’s theatre department presents “Lucky Stiff” on April 16-18 at 7 p.m. or April 19 at 2 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at https://averett.booktix.com/dept/main/e/LS or in-person at the box office. “Lucky Stiff” is an exciting murder mystery filled with mix-ups, diamonds and a corpse in a wheelchair. The story follows Harry, a shy English shoe salesman, who must take his murdered uncle’s body on a trip to Monte Carlo. If Harry is able to make people believe his uncle is still alive, then he will inherit $6 million. If not, then the money goes to a dog charity—or his uncle’s angry and gun wielding ex.
